DTL-1-240 Copper-aluminum Bimetallic Wire Terminals Ring Type Aluminum Copper Compression lugs
The copper-aluminum transition wire nose is made of L3 aluminum and T2 copper material. It is made of friction welding process and has high weld strength. The main application range is various circular and semi-circular fan-shaped aluminum The transitional connection between the cable and the copper end of the electrical equipment. It has the characteristics of good electrical performance, resistance to galvanic corrosion and long service life.
DTL series copper-aluminum terminal blocks are suitable for transitional connection between aluminum-core cables of power distribution devices and copper ends of electrical equipment.
The use of copper-aluminum transition terminals is because of the characteristics of the material, the connection between copper wires and aluminum wires is easy to produce an oxide layer and generate resistance, causing high temperature to burn or power off the joints, so in order to eliminate the situation of manual connection, the copper-aluminum transition terminal terminals to avoid.
Compared with other cold-pressed terminals, DTL copper-aluminum transition terminals will be lower in price due to different materials, and the cost performance is still very good. If the requirements for conductivity are not high, copper-aluminum transition terminals can be used to save costs.
